Final Interview Panels

On Thursday, May 13 and Friday, May 14, each finalist will interview with seven panels representing different stakeholder groups:

  • Students
  • Parents, guardians, families, and community members
  • Teachers and school staff
  • School leaders
  • Central staff
  • Senior Leadership Team
  • Board of Education

We received over 200 nominations for people to serve on the panels, and used a randomized lottery process to select from the individuals who were nominated, with attention to ensuring the final group reflected the rich diversity of the students and communities we serve. The student interview panel was organized in partnership with the student organizations participating in the search process.

Below is more information about the composition of the community, staff, and educator panels. Please note, the makeup of the groups will be updated as invited panelists confirm participation. Some percentages will total more than 100% when one individual represents multiple perspectives or affiliations.
